I don't expect HL3 to come out until after the new consoles are out. Valve isn't going to miss out on the revenue from them. They might release it earlier on the PC but it will find its way onto consoles shortly after. That's why I think the game will be late next year at the earliest. Considering Valve's past, it'll probably be closer to 2 years from now.

I still maintain that a controller with a trackball would be the perfect compromise between the speed and accuracy of a mouse and the comfort and convenience of a gamepad.

If EA wanted this game to be REALLY accurate, they should have just had a CBA simulator. The NHL is probably going to have another lockout. They are the worst run league in the US...and this is coming from a person that loves hockey.

I've been saying for years that HL3 would probably come out with Source2. I could be wrong but I think it just makes a ton of sense. Why else would it take so long to make? Perfect way to showcase your new engine too.

Like others have said, I thought it was VERY repetitive. The story and characters may have been deeper but in terms of gameplay, it was very shallow. The combat was limited, the missions were the very similar, and you had to keep doing them over and over to advance the story.

People always complain how Nintendo just recycles their own IP's. Having a unique and fresh storyline for a game where consumers don't expect a good storyline might breath new life into the series.

Sorry, without the huge sales, I'd never play many games. They just aren't worth their normal prices. Like Witness said, too many games overvalue themselves. Other times, I just don't know if the game would be worth it so the only time I'd try it is if it's cheap. There's no way to rent a game on PC. The sales help reduce the pain when you buy a bad game.

Actually, the Ipod wasn't even their idea. There were all kinds of MP3 players coming out before Apple released their Ipod. I think Creative even had one that was hard drive based for large capacity(large for back then at least). Apple just took the idea and made it more responsive and user friendly. Apple isn't nearly as innovative as people claim.

That is hideous. That looks like a kid ripped his controller apart and put it back together using old cheap parts and a glue gun. The paint job is atrocious too. Sorry, that's a horrible attempt at steampunk. You need gears and/or pistons somewhere on it.

Steampunk can look amazing when done correctly but this is done by an amateur and it shows. I can't believe anyone thinks that looks good.
